Actions

Send (off-chain, instant)

Pay a Lightning invoice

Atomic swap via the local bridge: your Ark sats are locked in a VHTLC, the bridge pays the invoice from its Lightning node, and can only claim the sats by proving the payment (preimage). The contract address is re-verified locally before anything is sent, and the bridge probes the Lightning route first: no route, nothing locked. Should the payment still fail, the bridge co-signs a cooperative refund right away.

Receive via Lightning — the bridge issues a hold invoice on a secret only you hold. Once it is paid, it locks the sats in a VHTLC that you claim by revealing the secret — which, at that same instant, lets it settle the invoice.

Bitcoin on-chain (outside the operator)

These sats live on the chain, not with your operator: no operator fees, no expiry, no renewal. In return, every send is a real Bitcoin transaction — slow and costly.

Real sats, real fees: an on-chain send is final once broadcast and the network fee is deducted on top of the amount. Double-check the address.

Withdraw on-chain (collaborative offboard)

Cooperative exit: the operator includes an on-chain output in a round. No timelock delay, no on-chain sats required up front — fees are taken out of the withdrawn amount.

Exit backup — plan B without the operator

Re-capture after every receive: a package only covers the VTXOs that existed at capture time.

Identity — mnemonic & maintenance

Encrypted backup and offline recovery — include swap secrets and saved recovery data.

Your mnemonic is the only thing that controls your funds. It lives in this browser only: lose it and the sats are unreachable. This is the wallet — each network keeps its own mnemonic in this browser; neither is ever reused on the other.

Restore an existing wallet — paste its 12 or 24 words:

A deposit left too long on the boarding address sees its window expire: the operator refuses it for good. This sweep spends it through the unilateral path (without the operator) to a fresh boarding address, which restarts the clock:

After a change on the operator side, the local cache can be stale and block operations. This button refreshes synchronization while keeping your mnemonic and recovery data:
